How to set up the GPS/GNSS & GPS Disciplined Time Base?
You need to activate the GNSS (GPS) feature within the SPECTRAN V6 block under Board Config -> GPS Mode by activating either "Location", "Time" or "Loacation and Time".
- "Location" will show/use the GNSS information (position and height).
- "Time" (needs additional key) will show/use the GNSS time (but no position information). The SPECTRAN V6 will now operate as a GPS Disciplined Time Base.
- "Location and Time" (needs additional key) is the perfect setup showing/using GNSS information and GNSS time.
IMPORTANT: If you want those information to be used within the IQ streaming you need to activate the GNSS stream under "Position Config" -> "Position Update" by setting it to "auto" which will send GNSS data (if available) and otherwise send the last data shown in "Latitude", "Longitude" & "Elevation".
At the top right position within the graph layout you can see "GPS Sats" (the number of satellites received), "GPS Time" (the GPS time) and the "GPS dTime" (the offset "GPS Time" vs System Time).
Please note that it can take some minutes for first GNSS readings to show up (at cold start).
