IMPLEMENTED: SSID overlay in Spectrum-View
Quote from mrTeigen on 07/07/2023, 13:20Hi,
It would be great if you could add an SSID overlay in Spectrum-View. This is pretty common in all our Wi-Fi tools, but now since you are making a cheaper Spectran (the V6 Eco), suddenly more Wi-Fi people are interested in Spectran. But you are missing something we need, and that is an SSID overlay in Spectrum-view.
Example below.
This could be a great addition to make RTSA perfect for Wi-Fi Engineers also. If you need more info, I already have this tool and many other Wi-Fi tools that support spectrum analysers. There is a lot of info you can pull easily from Windows to add this type of overlay directly in RTSA.
It could be a great FREE add-on if you buy the Spectran V6 Eco 😉

SSID overlay with a filter option could be a nice feature in the Spectrum-Block, since as you can see. This is pretty common for our Wi-Fi tools, that being said what about integrate Spectran V6 with WiFi Explorer so we can get insanely fast spectrum for 2.4, 5 and 6GHz directly in our favourite Wi-Fi scanner, WiFi Explorer Pro 3 on a MacBook.
That software already support a few spectrum analysers - https://www.intuitibits.com/help/wifiexplorerpro3/#/topic-en.lproj-spectrum_analysis

I personally know of several people who *wouldn't* necessarily be in the market for a high end spectrum analyzers like arronia offers- however now that functionality related to Wi-fi is being offered, That very much changes the market and several of these people *would* be interested in buying. (myself included, as my eco is already pre-ordered!)
I would like to know pricing info on the modules used in this missions.  (or are they included free?) - I can't seem to find the "device explorer" module in the store (nor the "IQ Signal Classifier") :

Quote from AdminTC on 17/02/2024, 23:48That block is super powerfull and real expensive but we can limit it if it comes to the supported decoders e.g. Wi-Fi only. In that case the price tag might be around 5k Euros but not sure about it yet.
