Since the I/Q data are send via high speed USB to the PC and back we are only facing a 200µs delay for the data transfer in total. This is over 100 times faster than any network based spectrum analyzer (10-20ms network delay for one way).

As soon as you add some processing we are somewhere within the ms range, depending on the complexity.

With the upcoming SPECTRAN V6 PRO we will for sure offer some onboard processing features which might bring the overall delay down to some µs, depending on the processing complexity.
