V6 Eco Sweep + Tx not possible?
Hi,
Seems like the V6 Eco block cannot enable Tx when in SWEEP mode, but the hardware should be enabled to do it when looking at the diagram right?
I would like a mission where I sweep for example 500MHz at 3.2THz at the same time with Tx, that is sending a signal that steps across the entire frequency.
But when I use Eco block with Tx Rx LO1 and add the sweep block it goes insanely slow (at 4GHz/s). Does not work, but would be fun if it worked without the need of two ECOs.
anyone with a mission example, or can help fixing this? 🙂

Tested the mission, and it is like the mission I just made a ticket about. Picture included, here you see that when setting the device mode of the Eco to RX1 TX1 LO1 it cannot sweep fast, and it seems to use the RTBW filter or something that is shiftet quite slow. So I get 3.74GHz/s sweep speed, and it does not look very good.
Now, second picture is when I set V6 Eco to Rx1 SWEEP, and here you see it sweeps in record speed without issues! 3THz/s but now Tx is disabled.
Yes, if you use the Tx you cant get the full Rx speed.

Good to know, but will there be a possibility to make it a bit faster? Since 4GHz/s is very slow, I do think the Plus can do 500GHz/s sweep at the same time using Tx if you use all USBs. Correct?

I downloaded this mission again now, and the only thing I did was to add the legend, and re-size it.
As you can see, this one is not very fast. So how fast is it when you open it with a V6-150XA-6 with 3THz/s license?
Makes no difference. This is an ECO not a PLUS unit but we might speed it up a bit soon.
Thank you, would be great if it could be a bit faster. Just wanted to test a mission where I send a signal on all Wi-Fi channels in 6GHz in lab here, and see how my APs reacted to it, but solved it with a Plus + Eco using two machines because of all the data. But if we got over 100GHz/s++ sweep using Tx with Eco that would have been a better option. Since the sweep right now at 4-5GHz/s is not quick enough to detect when my radios do something when they hear a signal from Tx.
