Fixing USB Overflow

Hi,
I always get usb overflow when IQ rate is at 184 MHz independent of other parameter settings.
Is that normal?

No, its not normal.

You seem to use Windows "Home" (no large pages support) which offers quite bad performance for high USB rates. You should switch to PRO.

Also try to use other USB ports, they might use hub devices which limit the maximum data throughput.

BTW: Did you check the forum under https://v6-forum.aaronia.de/forum/search/?keywords=Overflow ?

Thanks for the hint.
I never though about the (pre-installed) windows version but it's not Windows Home, see below.

Edition Windows 11 Pro
Version 22H2
Installiert am ‎10.‎05.‎2023
Betriebssystembuild 22621.3007
Leistung Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22681.1000.0
Gerätename DESKTOP-A20RMEU
Prozessor AMD Ryzen 5 6600H with Radeon Graphics 3.30 GHz
Installierter RAM 16,0 GB (12,7 GB verwendbar)
Geräte-ID 13C20742-9057-410D-BD22-5705C4FAF950
Produkt-ID 00331-20300-00000-AA721
Systemtyp 64-Bit-Betriebssystem, x64-basierter Prozessor

I swapped all kinds of combinations of USB ports, which are not that many as the used Mini-PC has only 3x USB ports Typ-A 3.2 Gen 2.
I also checked the named forum, but did not find any proper answer.

Looks like a problem with the on board USB, so the next step would be to try a driver update (if available), skip more FFTs (to reduce USB load) and to activate Large Pages

Wow, I started with activating Large Pages, as it appeared as being the most easiest excerise. 😉

... and it worked ... no yellow flag anymore at RX1 at 184 MHz IQ sample rate and even at span 1/512.

I was already worried, that the cause might be connected with the red sign at Device on the left side of the screenshot.

But I already adressed that topic in my last thread.

Thanks for your help!
