TX works with stream mode but not signal generator
I'm hoping that I'm just missing something, this is my first time working with the tx on the Spectran. I'm trying to transmit the output from the signal generator via my Spectran V6. I've tried several sample mission I download from the forum. Everything shows green when I start the mission but I'm not seeing the signal being transmitted when I look at the spectrum with another spectrum analyzer.
If I set the Tx Mode to stream I can see that being transmitted on my other spectrum analyzer.
I'm using a Spectran V6 500 Plus for this test and have verified I have the correct license.
Any help with this would be appreciated.
I may have found my own answer... Does it take a special license to tx QAM?
No (but limited to 16QAM without).
You might need to add more output power.
