Hello,
Just making sure you did not make a mistake... 3.5VRMS for REF port... It was not supposed to be 3.5Vpp? Is it expected V or maximum?

Just pinging to make sure I get the answer. 3.5VRMS is almost 10Vpp (24dBm) and that sounds like way too much power...

I just want to make sure I do not fry my board

Yes its not RMS. 3,3Vpp ist standard and 3,5Vpp would be max.
