Spectran tests. I don't understand how it works

Today I tested SPECTRAN® V6 RSA250X and Uniden BCT15X radio scanner.
I was a bit taken aback by the test results. An analog walkie-talkie was listened to at vhf frequencies (146.000 MHz).
The following assemblies took part in the tests:
1) SPECTRAN® V6 RSA250X with BicoLOG® 30100(without amplifier) vs. Uniden bct15x with Sirio sd 1300 un.
The distance at which they listened: SPECTRAN - 500 meters, UNIDEN - 15000 meters.

2) SPECTRAN® V6 RSA250X with BicoLOG® 30100(with amplifier) vs. Uniden bct15x with Sirio sd 1300 un
The distance at which they listened: SPECTRAN reached my radio at a distance of 800 meters, UNIDEN - 15000 meters.

3) SPECTRAN® V6 RSA250X with Sirio sd 1300 un vs. Uniden bct15x with Sirio sd 1300 un.
The distance at which they listened: SPECTRAN reached my walkie-talkie at a distance of 700 meters, UNIDEN - 15,000 meters.

4) SPECTRAN® V6 RSA250X with Sirio sd 1300 un(with amplifier) vs. Uniden bct15x with Sirio sd 1300 un.
Result: Spectran not working correctly.

I wonder how a 13+ year old Uniden can give better range results than SPECTRAN.
I really hope that you can explain to me what I'm doing wrong.

How should we tell without any screenshots showing settings etc?

I still can't see any spectrum graph showing your signal(s).

Should look like attached:

Using the FFT offers better control and signal quality:
