Can the Signal Generator and Signal Analyzer work independently at the same time ?

Hi,

If I would like to make Signal Generator and Signal Analyzer work independently, is that possible?

My scenario as below:

Step 1: I start the Signal Generator with absolute tone, -10dBm at 3GHz.

Step 2: Then at the same time, I want measure spectrum at 1GHz center frequency.

I have this question, because I noticed SG and SA follow the same Center Frequency settings below.

If I want achieve Step 1 and Step 2 above, how to make it?

Please check the function diagram:

independent usage of Rx and Tx or both Rx are not supported by the V6 PLUS devices.

The new SPECTRAN V6 ECO offers this feature but is limited to 44MHz RTBW.
