Random Device Disconnection | Sleep Mode

Some PCs and/or USB hubs have a default "low power setup" which can produce some issues with USB devices.

For a stable operation of the SPECTRAN V6 the USB ports need to offer full speed and power all the time.

If you have an issue (e.g. random disconnections) please check the following:

Change the computer's Power Plan to Ultimate/Performance, then go into each of the USB Root Hub/Generic USB Hub/Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub settings (Computer Management -> Device Manager -> USB Serial Bus Controllers) and un-check the box "Allow the computer to turn of this device to save power". Do this for ALL USB Hubs.
