How to produce square-like pulses
Greeting,
I want to produce a desired signal by IQ Signal Generator Block. but it will be produced with a cosine-like wave.
I feel that this config helps in limitation bandwidth situations. anyway I want my signal to be square-like
my config and my desired signal for a simple example and what the output of your block is shown in the attached picture

I'm not quite sure, which kind of signal you want to create. You say, you want a rectangle signal, but used the QAM generator. Let me characterize that:
The QAM generator produces determined states in the constellation diagram for a single point in time (in the given symbol raster). Between these points in time, the state transitions to the next state (using a filter).
The PULSE generator produces signals which hold over a certain time (screenshot attached). Here you can select square as the desired window function and slope time.
I think you are looking for the PULSE generator. With the current release, you can't specify the data pattern here. Please contact sales if you have an urgent requirement here.
