How can I see if I have a PreAmp Option installed?
Hi,
got my ECO-150XA6 yesterday, and I wonder if the preamp is fitted or not. Can't find any traces in the licenses, however it is mentioned in the invoice.
Serial number starts C2-P-02...

Software keys (e.g. the preamp) are shown within the license manager.
I have been there already, but nothing looks like a preamp there...

Check if you have the license on USB stick (needs to be installed). You can also try to change the RefLevel. It should go to -55dBm if you have a preamp option installed.
Of course I have installed the licenses from the USB flash drive, but I found nothing about a preamp. And RefLevel does not go below -30 dBm. So I guess they sent me the wrong device, or, if the hardware already is there, forgot to send me the license 🙂

Do all devices have the preamp hardware and only activate it if the licence is applied, or does extra hardware have to be included at build time?
The reason I ask is if I buy a SPECTAN V6 now and have limited money can I pay more money later and get the preamp if I need it?

We also ordered the pre-amp option back in 2022, but the pre-amp selection is grayed out since ever.
I can also not find that item in the device list.
