Fast Power OFF / Frontend Disconnection

Good morning,

We are using the spectrum analyzer as power detector for a new project, so if the device power is above a threshold, we want to disconnect the RF reception for hardware protection.

We have used the command “power off” to turn off the device but the elapsed time to turn on the device is about 3 seconds but it is too long.

Do you have any other implementation to fast disconnect/connect the RF reception without turn off the device?

You can disconnect the complete frontend within some µs by setting the Rx Filter to "Calibration" (within the V6 block under "Calibration"). This should be the fastest way.
