Frequency Offset

The Frequency Offset block adds a positive or negative frequency offset to the stream.

Left hand side Input:

  • Stream

Right hand side Output:

  • Stream

 

This block is real simple: It adds a positive or negative frequency offset to the stream. You can go as low as 0,001 Hz and up to 100GHz. It is mostly used to calibrate the frequency when using an up- or down-converter but you could also use it to calibrate the frequency of an recording later on:
