Antenna Segment Filter

The Antenna Segment Filter block allows you to filter the stream depending on the selected IsoLOG 3D DF antenna segements:

Antenna Segment Filter Block | Filter data from selected segments

Left hand side Input:

  • Stream (IQ or Spectra)

Right hand side Output:

  • Stream (Filtered)

This block allows you to get streaming data from the selected IsoLOG 3D DF antenna segments(s) of interest only.

Remove "bad" segments (e.g. if they look towards a wall) or separate different oriented antenna segments from each other: E.g. this allows you to separate the stream coming from the sky looking segments from the front looking segments to compare the stream from both to show if RF emissions are "flying" or coming from the ground.

The Antenna Segment Filter block even works from a record since all IsoLOG 3D DF antenna data is stored within the records.

The usage is very simple: Select the antennas of interest within the Sector Masks, that's it:

Select the antenna(s) from interest

Unused antennas (e.g. a not fully loaded IsoLOG 3D DF with 16 or 32 segments only) will be removed from the list as soon as the stream is active.

In addition you get a real-time graphical orientation about the selected IsoLOG 3D DF antennas and where the stream is just coming from:

A typical mission filtering the FRONT from the SKY wards oriented antennas and comparing the data in real-time to detect  "flying RF" is shown attached:
